Anthony & Robin morrow
Morrow & Company Art Studio is the vibrant creative collaboration between Anthony Morrow and Robin Morrow, a husband and wife team. Together they share their passion for life’s simplest pleasures, the wonderment of the world through a child’s eye, and the inspiration they feel toward objects of design or nature. Each piece of art is intended to invoke a smile, to serve as a reminder to think with a big heart and delight in the simple beauties in the world surrounding us.
Anthony Morrow was born and raised in Lumberton, New Jersey, amidst the farmlands of the garden state. He spent summers of his youth swimming and surfing off the beaches of Long Beach Island, NJ. As a child, he was inspired by his father, a self-taught artist, who ran a side business as a hand letterer for trucks and automobiles. Anthony went on to study art, graduating with a BA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout the years he has continued with his art education at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He enjoys fishing and hunting, surfing, sailing, scuba diving, painting and printmaking. He shares his life in and out of the studio with partner, Robin, with whom he has 3 children. Anthony continues to summer in Long Beach Island with his family, sharing with them his love of the coastal outdoors and his profound pleasure of all beauty great and small.
Robin Morrow, born in Atlantic City and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ, also spent the summers of her childhood, not too far south, on the beaches and bay of Ocean City, New Jersey. He father, an avid sailor, instilled in her a lifelong love of the sea and all things nautical. While her mother, a teacher, unveiled the world of art, literature, travel and cooking. Robin spent summers working for a family run press learning about the printing and production of book jackets while dreaming to one day be the artist of such covers. She graduated with a BA in communication design from Parsons School of Design in NYC. The first 20 years of her career she devoted to publishing and corporate design, working in Manhattan and Philadelphia. She taught graphic design at Philadelphia University for 6 years, and ran and operated her own design studio for 14 years. Robin stays active with her family, passing along her love of skiing, sailing, scuba diving, cooking, gardening, art, design, and education.
“Morrow & Company is wonderful to work with and the artists are extremely talented. It’s truly a win-win situation for both of us. We’re looking forward to doing an entire collection with them.”
